Share a link so your client or team can see your comments overlaid on the live site — no account required for the viewer.
Free tier — URL share
On the free plan, all comment data is encoded directly in the URL. No backend is involved.
How to share
- Open the toolbar and click the Share button.
- ReviewPin compresses all comments into a URL hash.
- The link is copied to your clipboard automatically.
- Send the link to anyone — they open it and ReviewPin loads the comments.
Free plan limits
- Up to 3 active reviews per browser
- Up to 5 comments per review
- The URL can become long with many comments — stay within the 5 comment limit for reliable sharing
Pro — Short links
Pro users get short, persistent share links stored in the database.

Instead of a long encoded hash, Pro shares produce a clean 8-character token:
https://automated.ly/r/abc12345Persistent storage
Comments are stored in the database. The link stays valid indefinitely — no expiry, no URL size limit.
Viewer experience
When a viewer opens a share link:
ReviewPin installed
The page detects the extension and loads the review automatically. The viewer sees all comment pins overlaid on the live site exactly as you placed them.
ReviewPin not installed
The viewer sees an install prompt page explaining what ReviewPin is and linking to the Chrome Web Store. Once installed, they can revisit the link to see the review.
The reviewer does not need a ReviewPin account to view a shared review. They only need the extension installed.
